Stories

The guide knows this landscape in depth and love bringing it to life through engaging storytelling

This tour blends gourmet experiences with one of Denmark’s most remarkable landscapes.

As you walk along Stevns Klint’s coastal path on this culinary hike, you taste local specialties and enjoy dishes crafted from high-quality regional ingredients. The chefs take pride in their produce and create meals that linger in your memory. Depending on how many servings you would like, the experience lasts between 3 and 7 hours, and your guide tailors the route to your wishes.

The nature walk leads you into deep time. The chalk, limestone and the rare fish clay layer reveal the story of the asteroid impact that transformed life on Earth. Your guide brings these layers to life, weaving geology, biodiversity and the World Heritage landscape into a cohesive story.

Many guests finish the gastronomic hike with a deeper sense of Stevns Klint — its geology, its stories, its significance for us — and with the warm, satisfied feeling that comes from sharing memorable food in a remarkable landscape.

Your local guide Anne

I’m your English-speaking guide at Stevns Klint. I know this coastline in depth and I enjoy turning that knowledge into vivid, entertaining storytelling. My tours combine solid science with humour and human perspective, so guests feel both informed and genuinely connected to the nature surrounding them.

Because I’m local, I also know where the real culinary gems are hidden. The places we eat are handpicked restaurants and producers who work with seasonal, local ingredients and high animal welfare — small, owner-run kitchens where quality matters more than scale.

Since 2018, I’ve welcomed families, couples, and groups of international travellers to this remarkable coastline — always with the aim of creating experiences that taste just as good as they tell a story.
